Strategic Plan
  • Immediate and Future Actions:

  • Reorganize School Environment Strategic Plan Committee efforts to include additional parent, faculty and School Board members.
  • Identify and address areas of discipline and safety still viewed as unsatisfactory, prompted by written survey comments and feedback to the committee. Modify Plan tasks/goals as appropriate.
  • Re-evaluate new discipline policy for consistency in use and impact on learning environment / physical safety of school community.
  • Identify and address areas resulting in unfavorable parent attitudes towards SPX as an “atmosphere in which Christian/Catholic values are emphasized and practiced” as prompted by written survey comments and feedback to the committee, and modify Plan tasks/goals as appropriate.
  • Increase frequency and participation incentives for survey input to better evaluate progress towards 2012 Plan Goal Levels of Satisfaction.

Strategic Plan
  • Marketing
  • The short and long term strategies of the Marketing Committee can be divided into three areas of focus:
    • Internal (currently enrolled families)
    • Parishioner (members of the SPX parish who have school aged children not attending our school) and
    • Community (with a focus on contiguous neighborhoods to our school).

    • There are also some broader image and marketing issues to be addressed.  But the over-riding message of this report is that current enrollment trends cannot be reversed without the active involvement of the school community of parents aggressively “selling” our school to their friends and neighbors.
