The Sacrament of Reconciliation, also known as Penance and Confession, is the sacrament that gives us the privilege of experiencing re-unity and peace with God, others, and ourselves. This sacrament of conversion offers us the opportunity for freedom from sin and guilt so that we may more fully live out our baptismal promises in the image and likeness of God.
First Reconciliation for Children
About the Program - All children in grades 2 and up who are enrolled in Catholic School or Religious Education, and have been for at least one year prior, are invited to prepare for this Sacrament. Preparation for First Reconciliation is done at home, with supporting curriculum in our parish school and religious education program. The process begins with parent information meetings held in October. The sacrament is celebrated in January and February each year.
